Rupee Symbol : Delhi High Court Granted Last Chance To Government To File Its Response

In resent hearing on Public Interest Litigation, [WP(C) 2449] which said there is corruption involved in conducting rupee symbol and others symbol public
competitions Delhi High Court, yet again slammed government for failing to respond in court.
In its October 3, 2012 order hon'ble High Court said "last opportunity is granted to the respondent to file the counter affidavit. Let the same be filed within six weeks."
In April this year, The Delhi High Court sought a response from the Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) with in four weeks on a petition (Public Interest Litigation, WP(C) 2449.) which said there is corruption, manipulations, favoritism, omissions of the
govt. officials and state agencies and violations of settled principles
of rule of law and provisions of the Constitutional and of the Official
Language Act 1963 in conducting rupee symbol and others symbol public
